About the artist

I was raised in Montana, chasing wildlife with a camera before I could legally drive—a passion sparked by my father. As a kid, I’d pedal my bike miles from home, shadowing mule deer all day—sneaking close, snapping shots, and falling in love with the wild. Over a decade ago, I added videography to the mix, deepening my bond with the outdoors. I spend more time under open skies than 99% of folks—more at home alone in the mountains than anywhere else. Weeks pass out there, just me and my wildlife friends, and I never miss the noise of society.

For me, true freedom lives in the wild. Growing up, I pictured wildlife photographers as rugged mountain men, only to find many barely leave their cars. I’m different. It’s who I am—an outdoorsman who treks beyond roads and crowds to capture the untamed. When you buy my prints, you’re supporting a photographer who lives the work.
